Because God did not send his son to the world to condemn the world, but for the world to be saved by him. John 3:17.
For children and young people who want, the Adventist Church provides appropriate activities through the Club of Conquerors, major guides or cadets, depending on age.
Personally, I have many memories of special moments lived with other young people who participated in the Church club. There was a camp that was completely special and remained in my memories. Every day we had an exceptional climate, which allowed us to recreate ourselves in the nearby stream; And the walks, the fires and the spiritual talks seemed to have a different flavor for being far from our parents and civilization. It seemed incredible to be alone in a mountainous and wild property, in full contact with nature.
In those years I learned to make different kinds of moorings, fire without matches, how to ration water, distinguish plants and animals, strengthen the muscles by the outdoor excursion and specialize in some issues that were focused on my personal tastes. Every year I was adding progressive class cards. Upon reaching each goal, I was adding buttons to the jacket of my uniform.
But beyond the personal experience that each Adventist could have that went through the conquerors or major guides, this program is much more than a hiker gratification. This space is intended to evangelize. Many children, adolescents and young people from non -Adventist families have entered the Church and accepted Christ as Salvador thanks to these clubs, for the requirements of their cards and the spiritual orientation of their leaders. Many of them would have rejected any activity within a temple, but by inviting them to belong to a country activity, there were no obstacles or prejudices and with joy they received the message of the Word of God.
The Sabbath School, the Divine Cult, the Young Society, the Conquerors Club and the major guides collaborate in the task that Jesus did: "Save what was lost" (Luo. 19:10). As a young man, you must find your place in some of these ecclesiastical spaces, since you are also called to participate in the salvation of the lost. Do not satisfy yourself with observing what others do, encourage yourself to be the protagonist in your Church and you will feel collaborator of Christ by sharing the Gospel.
